The Connecticut Trust For Historic Preservation Announces:

2012 Barns Grant Awardees

   

The Connecticut Trust awarded a total of $40,700.00 in Barns Grants to municipalities and non-profit (501c3) organizations.  The grants will make possible a total initial investment of $99,660.00 in these historic sites.

 

The grants are part of a historic preservation technical assistance and granting program of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, with funding from the Community Investment Act of the State of CT and the Connecticut General Assembly.  The purpose of the Barns Grant is to support efforts to preserve the iconic historic barns of Connecticut.

Established in 1975 as a non-profit organization by Special Act of the Connecticut General Assembly, the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation protects and nourishes the vitality of significant buildings and landscapes.
