Field Notes

This is the working dairy farm of Ned Ellis, Maple Leaf Farm. It is one of the Farmers' Cow brand farms. The house was built in 1821 and the attached barn about the same time. Other barns and outbuildings, some in the next e mail-- are scattered behind the house and attached barn. They will be attached to another email. There is also a barn complex across Hardy Road belonging to the same working farm which will be called site 14x as we find it has a different address. Part 3 THe house with this barn complex houses a tenant. The barns go with the Maple lEAF fARM. Cluster of various types of freestanding barns - included are: dairy barns, storage barns, etc. .
