Field Notes

Located opposite 161 Maple Hollow, this barn site is directly above the Nepaug River. At some point the barn has been modified for other uses, judging by the low four pane windows on the north side. The mill at 157 Maple Hollow (see record) is part of a cluster of development, just outside Bakerville village that includes 134, 161 and 166 Maple Hollow: two substantial barn complexes, two large brick houses and other buildings.
