When Angelo Andrighetti bought this farm during WWII it consisted of 85 or so acres. With the exception of the concrete silo, Angelo and his family constructed all of the buildings on this farm. Shortly after the war the stone barn was constructed; the large dairy barn followed. The concrete silo shown replaced one made of wood which blew down in heavy winds. A smaller dairy barn was been torn down by the current owners a couple of years ago. The balloon framed dairy barn is built on concrete blocks. The downstairs housed twenty cows, the stanchions are still present; the upstairs was a large hay mow. The second story has an earthen ramp leading to a short bridge leading to the second story doors. This barn is currently used as a work space and storage. The smaller stone building is on concrete. It is also balloon-framed. It is currently used for storage. The vinyl siding and asphalt roofing are improvements made by the current owners. The buildings are in excellent condition. The Anddighetti place has been broken up and developed, the barns and house shown are what remains of the old farm; there are two or so acres left.
