The main barns and fields are on the east side of the road, while the house is on the west along with another barn complex. The house and barn complex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Cream Hill Agricultural School (see Part 1); the Gold farm was involved int the educational curriculum of the school from c. 1845-1869.
