We have a very old barn on our newly acquired property. A barn restorer said that parts of the barn dated back to the 1700s. The barn is not in good shape and we are trying to decide what to do with it as it is currently hazardous with the roof caving in. We'd like to find out any history about the barn and "White Oak Shade Farm" as it was called in the 1800s. Scheduled for demolition in 2010. 200 year old barn. Large barn was demolished in 2010...two smaller structures still extant.
