Relationship to surroundings

Snake Meadow Hill Road extends east to the Rhode Island border; a remote enclave of open farmland in an area that is mainly second-growth woodlands. This farm located on the south side of the road consists of a house at the east edge of the complex, an English bank barn with its main entry door facing northwest onto a circular drive, and a gambrel barn with its entry facing northeast onto the drive. Another shed is to the west along the road, and a pole barn is located downslope to the south in an open field. The property slopes down toward the east to a stream.
