Historic Significance

Associated with the Robert Brainerd House which was erected circa 1790 on a high bluff overlooking the Connecticut River and Valley. House sold to Matthew Clark of Lyme in 1805.  Clark was a farmer and family owned property until 1927. 

English style barn with later shed roof addition on southern elevation.  Addition has three garage bays.  Barn has vertical siding.  Property has numerous outbuildings.
