Field Notes

House construction: 1700 - associated with adjacent Ferris Acres dairy farm. Barn appears to be late 19th century with Victorian Stick Style decorative siding and cupola. “The chain of title is clear back to George Shepard, the original owner. William David Baldwin bought it from Capt. Hart Shepard (son of George), and it descended into the Ferris family. Today Baldwin's great-great grandson, Charles D. Ferris, III and his wife Shirley, own it.” - Mitchell & Goodrich p. 97.
